On Tuesday March 19th BION inc. was able to attend a Career Fair at Yorktown HS in Arlington County, Va. This event gave the students and employers the opportunity to meet one another, establish professional relationships, and discuss potential jobs and or internship opportunities. Companies from all walks of life were in attendance including Police, Military, Non-Profits, Healthcare and the Arts. February is the American Heart Month and 16 of BION’s office staff spent the morning being trained on Heart Smart life saving measures and best practices for a healthy lifestyle. We were fortunate to have medical professionals, safety managers and health and wellness experts on hand to ensure that the training was informative and fun.

Congratulations to our 24 newly certified Medical Gas technicians and 2 newly certified Medical Gas inspectors who just completed and successfully passed the Medical Gas Examination. This process consisted of 32 hours of class work over a weeklong period, followed by a brazing test and 100 question written exam. When Nelson began his career with BION in 2015, he never planned on learning to weld, let alone becoming the first welder to be fully trained through in-house instruction. Now, as the first graduate of BION’s internal welding program, he is progressing in leaps and bounds towards a bright future in skilled trade.
