On Tuesday March 19th BION inc. was able to attend a Career Fair at Yorktown HS in Arlington County, Va. This event gave the students and employers the opportunity to meet one another, establish professional relationships, and discuss potential jobs and or internship opportunities. Companies from all walks of life were in attendance including Police, Military, Non-Profits, Healthcare and the Arts. This diverse group kept all of the tables very busy sharing what their businesses do and the opportunities that are out there in each field. BION discussed everything from Healthcare, Plumbing, HVAC and Service Work to office jobs that may be available and are associated with small businesses.
The BION reps were very impressed with the honesty, questions, and the ability of the Yorktown students to carry on very adult conversations. From 9th through 12th grade the students were active, respectful and very engaging. BION looks forward to future opportunities with Arlington County and all of the surrounding counties as BION management believe in the importance of being a pillar in the communities where we work.
