BION, inc has been informed that they have been awarded The Diamond Award for the 2023 STEP calendar year. This is STEP’s highest honor and BION is so proud of both the field and office personnel who helped to make this happen. The award was based on BION’s application which was submitted via the ABC STEP Safety Management System. The application included essay questions and interviews with company CEO and Safety Teams Members about their corporate safety culture. Award categories are based on a company’s total work hours per calendar year and placement within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS codes).
The ABC National Safety Excellence Awards recognize companies that exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Health and Safety Committee. Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 22,000 members. Based on the merit shop philosophy, we help our members develop people and deliver work safely, ethically for the betterment of the communities in which they work.
