BION had the pleasure of working with HCA’s Reston Hospital during the Observation and Lab Renovation that included creating a thirteen bed (13) Observation space and an intricate Laboratory. The Lab included several island fixtures, acid waste piping utilizing a fusion seal system and required close coordination for rough-in of owner provided lab equipment. The majority of the piping was run through existing, occupied spaces requiring day, night and weekend crews. In addition to BION providing the HVAC, Plumbing and Medical Gas on this project, the Infection Control Risk Assessments and subsequent procedures for the mechanical work were performed by BION. Hats off to our seasoned Foreman and his crew for executing this project on time!
