BION was extremely excited to be a part of the Inova Fair Oaks Surgery Expansion Project. This multi-year project included an addition, a renovation and re-working of many areas that much of the BION staff has been involved in for well over twenty (20) years. The project increased the size of the existing Sterile Processing Department to coincide with the addition of six (6) new Operating Rooms, starting with the relocating of an existing AHU from the loading dock area to the roof to allow for the addition. The scope of work also involved demolition of the ice chiller and ice storage tanks to make room for the chiller plant expansion. We are proud to be a part of Inova Fair Oak Hospital’s growth.
