The American Society of Healthcare Engineers, ASHE, offers two professional certifications. One of those certifications is the Certified Healthcare Constructor, CHC. Per ASHE’s website, “The CHC certification program provides a national standard of requisite knowledge required for CHC certification; thereby assisting employers, the public and members of health professions in assessing healthcare constructors.” The eligibility requirements for the certification include a blend of education and healthcare-specific experience along with a timed 115 question exam and continuing education renewal requirements.
Given that BION’s focus is healthcare facilities, this professional certification is an excellent enhancement for our management.
