Dave Determan / Director of Field Operations
David is a Director of Field Operations, leading our Construction teams. He began his career at BION as a plumber, quickly became a foreman, and deservedly was promoted to Director in 2023. His experience of 30 plus years and extensive working knowledge of healthcare construction is a tremendous asset to our clients and to his co-workers. He maintains his Virginia Master’s Licenses in HVAC, Gas Fitter, and Plumbing, along with his Backflow Prevention Device Worker. He also maintains his WSSC Master Plumber, Master Gas Fitter, and Cross Connections Licenses along with being ASSE 6010 Medical Gas Certified.
Rick Burke / Director of Field Operations
Rick Burke began his career as a tradesman right out of high school. He now has over 35 years of experience installing, repairing, and managing commercial HVAC, plumbing and medical gas projects, with 20 years spent leading projects in a healthcare environment for. Rick holds a Master’s HVAC license in Virginia, is a certified ASSE Medical Gas Installer and ASME IX Brazer, and is approved by the EPA for CFC Type II Refrigerant Recovery.
David Jackson / Service Manager
Dave Jackson has been with BION, inc came to BION in 2014 and worked his way to Service Technician. With outstanding technically and interpersonal skills Dave moved to the Service Manger in the Spring of 2022 where he leads of team of 9 in the field and 3 in the office. Dave’s team helps the hospitals of Northern Va and Maryland stay up and running.
