Our own South Patient Tower project was featured in the Summer 2010 edition of Inova Magazine. According to the article, some of the intricacies of the new patient tower include:
- 174 all-private intensive care and medical/surgical patient rooms
- Intensive care units grouped by specialty so patients don’t have to change floors
- Telemetry capability on each medical/surgical floor for in-room cardiac monitoring
L. Reuven Pasternak, MD, CEO, Inova Fairfax Hospital Campus was quoted in the issue as saying: “This outstanding new space will take patient care to the next level and support our pioneering efforts in medical education and research.”
