Loss of water pressure at a local hospital was disrupting the consistent operation of the dialysis unit.
BION assessed the situation and discovered the loss of water pressure was at the city level. In order to keep the dialysis machines operational, BION took immediate action and called the manufacturer of the dialysis machines to determine their water pressure and flow requirements. Based on the conditions and requirements of the machines, BION was able to size, locate and install a pump system that evening to eliminate further disruption.
The Dialysis Unit was able to stay in operation to serve its patients. As an added benefit, the pump system installed now doubles as a backup in the event of future reduction in the city's water pressure.
