Fairfax Hospital awarded Shapiro & Duncan and BION the mechanical construction work for its South Patient Tower. The project consisted of adding a new 11-story patient tower adjacent to the existing patient tower. In addition to patient rooms, the new structure features an ultrasound suite, cafe and the addition of a cooling tower at the power plant.
